This tool helps advertisers monitor and troubleshoot their cart data implementation, an extension of standard conversion tracking that sends product-level details like item ID, price, and quantity for each purchase.
The diagnostics tool checks three key areas:
- Cart data is always sent with each purchase conversion
- Required product information is complete
- Item IDs match those in Merchant Center
Advertisers can view their account’s status as Excellent, Good, Needs attention, or Urgent, with alerts highlighting discrepancies. Ensuring accurate cart data enables richer sales reporting, better campaign optimization, and improved decision-making.
