Help Page Released for Text Disclaimers in Search Ads

Google has published a new help page detailing text disclaimers for Search ads, allowing businesses to display required terms, conditions, and disclosures directly within their ads.

Text disclaimers are available to all advertisers worldwide and are fully compatible with AI Max features. To create a text disclaimer, advertisers must add them post-campaign creation through the Assets menu, with a character limit of 90.

It is important to note that if a disclaimer asset is disapproved, the ad will continue to serve without it.

Key considerations include that disclaimer assets will override any existing pinned description line 1 in the campaign, and they may be truncated under specific conditions, such as increased font size or certain languages.

You can find more details on usage and eligibility in the official help page, shared by Hannah Gillespie: About text disclaimers for Search ads.
