Microsoft Advertising has restructured its Restricted Pharmacy and Healthcare policy as of July 1, 2026. This update mainly improves the organization of existing guidelines and ensures important rules are more accessible to advertisers.

Changes include relabeling the section on online pharmacies and consolidating European cross-border advertising rules into a dedicated area. A clear Market Specific Policies section is now available, encompassing over 130 markets. The rules for weight loss and health supplements remain unchanged, but are more logically arranged now.

For advertisers in the healthcare vertical, it is advisable to review the reorganized policy page. Specific rules for prescription drugs, weight loss, and supplements are still applicable but now easier to locate, which could influence compliance enforcement moving forward.
