Google is updating its recurring billing policy, making it possible for certified U.S. online pharmacies to advertise prescription drugs with recurring billing and bundled services. This expansion allows for more flexibility in how online pharmacies promote their subscription-based offers.

Certified merchants can now run bundled offers that include prescription drugs with services like weight loss programs or coaching, as long as the drug is the primary product.

The changes also permit recurring consultation services, where access to prescription drugs may be included after an eligibility evaluation.

Pharmacies must ensure compliance by submitting non-discounted periodic payments using the subscription cost attribute and including all subscription terms in their Merchant Center account.

Landing pages should clearly disclose all associated fees and specify what the offer includes. Existing Healthcare & Medicine and billing policies still apply, and disapproved accounts can request a review once compliant.
