Starting February 2, 2026, Google Ads API will no longer accept conversion imports containing IP addresses or session attributes from new adopters. Advertisers using these restricted data types without prior approval may encounter errors such as CUSTOMER_NOT_ALLOWLISTED_FOR_THIS_FEATURE.
Current users with existing setups can continue using this data temporarily, but only if they are allowlisted. Google recommends transitioning to the Data Manager API, which still supports importing these types of conversion signals.

This shift reinforces Data Manager API as the preferred tool for advanced conversion data handling. Advertisers relying on session-based or IP-dependent measurement workflows should review their pipelines soon.
