Google Ads has added support for pulling video assets directly from Merchant Center, currently in beta. This follows the earlier release of social video imports, which allowed videos from websites, YouTube, and social platforms to be managed in one location.
Also, the social tab is visible that was first observed earlier this month.

Product-linked videos now auto-surface during asset creation, reducing manual work and helping brands generate more relevant, high-performing creatives. The update aims to enhance product-video alignment and accelerate campaign readiness for retail advertisers.
While currently available in Performance Max, it’s likely this feature will expand to other campaign types over time.
