Google Ads now lets advertisers search and select up to 10 business locations directly from Google Maps when setting up location assets. This new method provides an alternative to linking Google Business Profile or Chain store locations.

To use this feature, go to Location manager under Tools > Shared library, then select “Our locations.” From there, you can search addresses or key phrases and link relevant businesses from Maps. The selected locations must be owned by you or they risk being disapproved.
Advertisers can still customize which locations appear at the campaign or ad group level using Location groups or exclusions.
