Policy Shift for Gambling Apps in Brazil

Starting June 18, 2025, licensed gambling app operators in Brazil will be allowed to advertise on Google, but with stricter linking requirements.

What’s changed:

  • Apps must be linked from the operator’s officially registered domain
  • Link must be prominent, functional, and direct users to the App Store or Play Store listing

Operators still need:

  • A valid license from Brazilian authorities
  • Certification through Google’s gambling policy process
