Google Adds Political Ad Disclosure for EU

Google Ads has introduced a new additional setting, asking advertisers: “Does your campaign have European Union political ads?“.

Even if your campaign isn’t political, you must select “No” before saving.

Alternatively, you can opt out permanently if you don’t plan to run political ads in the EU.

This update aligns with Google’s efforts to comply with evolving EU regulations around political transparency.
