Google Sets July Deadline for EU Consent Compliance or Face Suspension

Google is alerting advertisers whose websites or apps do not meet its EU User Consent Policy.

The email notice, titled “[Action Required] Compliance with Google’s EU User Consent Policy“, includes a July 21, 2025 deadline to resolve violations or risk disabling of personalized and non-personalized ads, remarketing, and conversion tracking.

Advertisers must review the attached violating site list and either complete a provided form or contact Google by email to outline their compliance plans. Failure to address issues may result in account suspension.
