Google Ads is experiencing a significant outage, affecting multiple reporting tools and product management features. The outage affected the Report Editor, Dashboards, and Saved Reports in the web interface, as well as Products, Product Groups, and Listing Groups pages across the web, API, and Google Ads Editor.

The outage has resulted in a serious data breach, with unrelated item IDs, product titles, and Merchant Centre information becoming visible in incorrect accounts. This has raised substantial privacy concerns.

The issue was first reported by Ingvar Kraatz, who shared the data breach on LinkedIn between July 30-31, 2024. Advertisers were able to see sensitive information belonging to their competitors within their accounts.

For accounts that have not been affected by this issue, all reporting services have been restored.

For accounts affected by this issue, we are still working to restore reporting services for Report Editor and the Products tab.
