Google Proposes New Privacy Sandbox Path & Keeps 3rd Party Cookies

At the end, Google announced it will not eliminate third-party cookies from Chrome. It proposes a different path using its updated Privacy Sandbox to enhance online privacy while supporting an ad-funded internet. The new approach will allow Chrome users to make and adjust privacy choices across their web browsing.

Early tests show the potential of Privacy Sandbox APIs to balance privacy with effective advertising. Google will keep developing these technologies and introduce IP protection in Chrome’s Incognito mode.
