Google Ads Integration in Canva

An image editing software interface reminiscent of Canva displays export options for a Google Ads design. The file type is JPG with size and quality settings shown. A fluffy white dog with a yellow heart background peeks through as a cursor hovers over the "Export" button, ready for seamless integration.

Canva has introduced new features to help advertisers easily create new assets to Google Ads.

  • Customizable templates for Google Ads are specifically designed for Performance Max campaigns. This integration allows advertisers to easily create stunning ads, freeing up more time to focus on business growth.
  • Direct integration with Google Ads allows to seamlessly pass assets created in Canva into their Asset library in Google Ads. Currently this integration only supports text and image assets. Google is working on integrating video assets in the future. Until then, video assets must be uploaded to YouTube Studio.

Both features were designed with Performance Max campaigns in mind, but the assets can also be used in other campaign types.
