AI Transparency Rules Bring New AI Labels to Google Ads

Starting in July 2026, Google will allow advertisers to add text or visual labels directly within image and video ad creatives generated or modified using AI. This initiative, first announced with other updates last week, aligns with emerging AI transparency regulations in the European Union, India, and New York, which require disclosures for ads containing AI-generated content.
