Sponsored Stores Appear in Google AI Mode Search Results

Google has introduced a new ad feature for retailers within AI Mode, now displaying “Sponsored Stores” links in relevant ecommerce searches. This addition reflects Google’s ongoing efforts to innovate ad formats as AI Mode becomes more integrated into Search.

After selecting a product in an AI-powered search answer, users may now see “Sponsored Stores” appear in the right sidebar alongside standard shopping information. This provides retailers an additional opportunity to sponsor their stores directly in the AI-driven experience.

With increased interest in shopping-related queries, this move gives advertisers a straightforward new placement for generating visibility and revenue.
