Google Ask Advisor Can Pause Campaigns, Change Budgets and Appeal Ads

Google Ask Advisor Can Pause Campaigns, Change Budgets and Appeal Ads

The Ask Advisor feature in Google Ads has been updated to perform a variety of new actions beyond just providing answers. Advertisers can now use it to pause and rename campaigns, adjust daily budgets and target locations, as well as appeal ads that were disapproved and update final URLs.

New enhancements include the ability to save business context, such as remembering preferences for ROAS metrics, and providing market insights like performance against peers and seasonal trends.

Other improvements include updated ‘Use cases’ previously labeled as ‘Activities’, and troubleshooting prompts such as: ‘Please appeal the disapproved ads’ and ‘Please update my final URL’. The update also supports identity verification processes and handling promo code issues. However, the functionality remains in beta and is unavailable in MCC accounts.

Advertisers can access Ask Advisor directly from a dedicated icon or by typing queries into the main Google Ads search bar.
