Google is extending the transition timeline for Dynamic Search Ads (DSA) to AI Max for Search campaigns while restoring campaign creation features.
The automatic upgrade of DSA campaigns has been postponed from September 2026 to February 2027. Advertisers can start creating new DSAs from June 15, 2026.
This change provides additional time for advertisers to manage their migrations and conduct thorough testing before the transition to AI Max begins.
