Dynamic Search Ads Can Now Be Upgraded to Performance Max in Microsoft Advertising

Eligible Dynamic Search Ads (DSA) campaigns can now be upgraded to Performance Max, offering:

  • 24% more conversions at a similar CPA or ROAS
  • Expanded reach across multiple channels
  • AI-powered optimization for better performance

Microsoft recommends to transition to Performance Max for enhanced automation and efficiency in their shopping campaigns.

As of the end of January, also all remaining Smart Shopping campaigns have officially been converted to Performance Max. Advertisers were notified via email and are now encouraged to use Performance Max for automated shopping.
