Google has announced the discontinuation of several long-standing ad format requirements. As of March 17, 2026, the policies for Form ads, Image quality, Responsive ads, and Text ads will no longer be enforced.
This change reflects Google’s move toward newer advertising products, making the previous standards unnecessary.

Advertisers will now need to focus on the latest Google Ads policies and remain informed about current ad format requirements relevant to new product offerings.
