Google Ads announced that starting in 2026, the Google Ads API will move to a monthly release cycle (excluding the year-end holiday period).

  • Major releases: increasing from 3 to 4 per year, each supported for one year.
  • Minor releases: monthly drops adding non-breaking incremental features.
  • Sunset schedule adjusted: to reduce unnecessary version migrations.

The 2026 roadmap includes V23 in January, V24 in April, V25 in July, and V26 in October, with minor versions in between. Earlier versions (V19–V22) will sunset throughout 2026.
