Update to Healthcare and Medicines Policy for Clarity

Google has updated its healthcare and medicines policy to improve clarity and readability. The changes, effective December 2024, reorganize the policy and include additional examples to help advertisers better understand its scope.

Importantly, there are no changes to how the policy is enforced or which violations are considered egregious.

Google published this announcement on December 20, so it’s likely that the update has already been implemented.
