Audience Recommendations No Longer Available Within Insights

Google has removed the audience recommendations feature from the Insights tab in Google Ads.

This change leaves advertisers without automated suggestions for targeting specific audiences. 

A tweet from Melissa L Mackey (@beyondthepaid) states: "So apparently Google Ads removed Audience Recommendations from the Insights tab. This was one of the sections we used the most to discover new audiences for layering. Sad #ppcchat". Timestamp: 11:11 AM · Aug 9, 2024, 582 Views.

UPDATE #1: It appears to be a bug affecting specific accounts, as other PPC marketers can still see this section on the Insights page.

UPDATE #2: Ginny Marvin confirmed, that Audience Insights are not going to be removed. The feature not appearing for some accounts is caused by a glitch and Google is working on it.

A social media post by @MilezGrey asking @AdsLiaison if "AUDIENCE INSIGHTS" will return to Google Ads. @AdsLiaison responds, assuring that Audience Insights is not being removed and the team is addressing an issue causing it to stop showing in some accounts. Expect improved Audience Recommendations soon!
