Google has updated the Merchant Center help documentation to reflect new expansions in the Loyalty Customer Match program. This enhancement now includes AI Mode, Gemini, and extends availability to additional regions.
Key updates outlined in the documentation indicate that Loyalty Customer Match can now be accessed through the Merchant API, and programs are explicitly made available to both advertisers and non-advertisers. Furthermore, the update adds a country and device availability matrix, showing expansion to 14 countries, which now includes India, Italy, the Netherlands, South Korea, and Spain.

Eligibility updates include loyalty points and completed orders as qualifying membership types. Programs now also specify that free-to-join can’t require eventual payment, including certain free trials.
