Google has introduced Ads DevCast, a new bi-weekly vodcast and podcast tailored for developers working with Google Ads, Analytics, Display & Video 360, and other advertising tools. Hosted by Cory Liseno, the series promises in-depth technical discussions straight from the engineers shaping these platforms.

The premiere episode explores the “agentic shift” where AI agents, not just humans, are becoming primary API users. Advertisers and technical teams can now interact via natural language using new Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, supporting direct queries like reporting on active campaigns or website traffic. The episode also highlights how the open source MCP tools and the Gemini CLI extension speed up debugging and code generation, a topic previously covered in Google’s AI-powered Developer Assistant launch.
Google is encouraging feedback on the pilot and participation in its Discord Community.
