Google has published new best practices for February aimed at boosting Demand Gen campaign performance. According to internal analysis, advertisers implementing at least three out of four recommended strategies achieved over 40% more conversions on average.

To maximize results, Google highlights four key areas:

  • Audiences Use optimized targeting, Lookalikes, and new customer acquisition goals to help Google AI find high value users
  • Bidding and Budget Apply tCPA or tROAS and use Performance Planner to support demand creation
  • Creative Aim for Excellent Ad Strength and leverage AI to build a full asset mix
  • Data Strength Implement sitewide tagging with Google tag gateway and connect offline data via Data Manager
