Google Tag Gateway Now Supports Akamai Integration

Google has rolled out support for configuring the Google tag gateway with Akamai as the content delivery network (CDN). This new integration enables advertisers using Akamai to gain more control over their data, leading to better Google Analytics accuracy and improved conversion tracking.

With this setup, tags fire more reliably by routing data through Google’s secure infrastructure, while leveraging Akamai’s CDN edge locations. The result is faster tag execution and uplift in signal quality, especially for high-traffic or globally distributed sites.
