Google Ads Tightens Policy on Dishonest Pricing

Starting October 28, 2025, Google will enforce stricter rules on Dishonest Pricing Practices to ensure full transparency and prevent user deception.

Key changes:

  • Clear disclosure of payment models and full costs before & after purchase
  • No bait-and-switch pricing
  • No price exploitation of vulnerable users
  • No “free” apps that require payment to install
  • No unclear free trial terms or hidden auto-charges

Enforcement begins Oct 28 with a 4-week ramp-up. Warnings (min. 7 days) will be issued before suspensions.
