Google Renames API Versions, Adds Minor Releases to 2025 Roadmap

Google has revised its 2025 Google Ads API release plan to bring new features to developers sooner.

Key changes include:

  • v20_1 will become a major version, renamed to V21
  • The planned V21 is now V22
  • Two minor releases, v19_2 and v20_1, will launch alongside V21
