Noticed sudden drops in spend or traffic? You’re not alone. Benoit Legendre shared an update that campaigns using “Bid only for new customers” have been globally impacted by a technical issue.
Google confirmed the bug on May 16 after it saw the hourly spend drop off around 11:00 AM UK time.
Google is working on a fix, but there’s no ETA yet.
As a workaround, switch to “Bid for new and existing customers” to restore delivery.
