Help Pages on Performance Max for Marketplaces


Google has recently published dedicated help pages related to Performance Max for Marketplaces, a new PMAX campaign type for businesses leveraging online marketplaces as a sales channel.

It allows advertisers to reach more customers and send traffic directly to the products they sell on the marketplace their products are shown on.

All sales and product management occur on the marketplace. You need to connect your Google Ads account to the marketplace, but you don’t need Google Merchant Center or a website. The Marketplace takes care of tracking conversions and sends the information to Google Ads.

Not all marketplaces are supported, but more will be added soon. To check whether this feature is available for a particular marketplace, the advertiser should reach out to that marketplace.
