Ad Group-Level Adjustments Tested in Google App Campaigns

Google Ads is testing a new feature allowing advertisers to make seasonal adjustments at the ad group level within App campaigns.

This feature, identified as a beta, is designed to provide advertisers with more precise control over Smart Bidding strategies by permitting adjustments for individual ad groups based on expected changes in conversion rates.

Among the options available, advertisers can select from three scopes for applying these adjustments: across a campaign type, for a specific campaign, or for individual ad groups within App campaigns. The focus on ad groups is a new addition, giving advertisers the flexibility to apply tailored conversion rate estimates during defined promotional periods.

By enabling this added scope, advertisers can optimize bids for specific ad groups expected to respond differently during promotions, enhancing the effectiveness of their App campaigns.
