Google has released official help documentation for Website Optimizer, a new testing tool expected to appear under the Reporting tab in Google Ads. The feature hasn’t been spotted live yet, but several support pages now explain how access and setup will work once it rolls out.

According to the documentation, users will need both Google Ads access and admin permissions for the linked Google Analytics property. If no GA4 property exists, Website Optimizer will automatically create one.

MCC managers will need to request access separately via Reporting > Website Optimizer > My Client Center User Access.
