Google Ads has released version 26.1 of its Google Ads API. This update includes budget controls for ad network prioritization, a new promotion redemption tracking feature, local services eligibility-checking, and household income exclusions for Performance Max campaigns. Reporting for vertical ads is also expanded with new segments.

Among the key additions are:

  • Budget controls allowing prioritization of ad networks with tiered spending caps.
  • Promotion redemption tracking via the PromotionAsset.external_redeem_info field.
  • Local services eligibility-checking capability to assess account and listing qualifications.
  • Household income exclusion for Performance Max campaigns.
  • Expanded reporting segments for vertical ads, including user rating and price tier.

Version 26.1 follows October’s major release, continuing Google’s frequent API enhancements throughout the year.
