Google is rolling out new AI tools to automate bidding and budgeting for Search and Shopping campaigns.

Advertisers can now leverage journey-aware bidding, enabling better tracking of lead quality and new customer acquisition through Smart Bidding Exploration which fully rolled out in July 2025. It will now help advertisers expand their reach across both Search and Shopping traffic, and it will soon be available for Performance Max and Shopping campaigns as well.

Additionally, demand-led pacing will adjust daily spending to align with consumer interest, helping brands manage their budgets dynamically.

These improvements aim to minimize manual tasks, allowing advertisers to focus on achieving their business objectives more efficiently.
