Urban and Rural Targeting in India Improved in PMAX

Google Ads is now displaying a new notification that clarifies how to target urban and rural areas in India within location settings for Performance Max campaigns

Advertisers can target urban areas by entering the state name followed by ‘Urban’ and reach rural areas by selecting the full state while excluding urban locations.
