Microsoft Advertising has begun surfacing Asian-owned business labels on sponsored search results in Bing. Although this attribute was introduced some time ago, live sightings in Bing search results have been rare until now.

Recently, the Asian-owned label unexpectedly appeared on a couple of Bing search ads, including for Amazon. The inconsistency raises questions, as not all ads are tagged and some assignments seem incorrect, suggesting this could be a bug rather than intended functionality.

Microsoft has not issued an official statement on the issue so far.
