This change means that alcohol subscriptions are included under the same guidelines as other recurring physical product sales.

Merchants must ensure all alcohol-related offers comply with Google’s established Alcoholic Beverages policies. Importantly, the designated Google product category “Alcoholic Beverages” (ID 99676) must be used for compliance and proper classification.

Subscription-based alcohol products require the [subscription_cost] attribute in product feeds, noting only one subscription price per landing page is supported. All mandatory fees must be clearly disclosed at checkout, and the subscription cost should reflect the total non-discounted periodic payment.
