Microsoft Advertising has rolled out a new magazine-style answer card format for search results on desktop. This feature aims to present information in a visually engaging way.

Navah Hopkins from Microsoft confirmed that this is a new format being tested, describing it as a “magazine layout” that is part of a newer Answer Card format. She explained that advertisers can appear in this placement through Shopping, Multimedia, and Performance Max ads, but there is no unique auction for it. As a result, ads will either show in this layout or in another spot on the search results page, not both.
