Under the new rules, ads for the following products will be permitted in the UAE:

  • Online gaming
  • Lotteries
  • Internet gaming
  • Sports wagering

To be eligible, the advertiser must be a licensed entity authorized by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority GCGRA and must complete Google’s certification process. Advertisers can review the requirements and apply via the official Gambling and games policy page, which will be updated when the change goes live.

This opens a new, regulated opportunity for gaming operators targeting the UAE market.
