Google will begin allowing Prediction Market ads in the United States, but only for federally regulated entities.

Prediction markets let users trade on the outcomes of real-world events, such as elections, economic indicators, or sports results, by buying and selling contracts based on what they think will happen. These platforms operate similarly to stock markets but focus on event outcomes.

Who’s eligible?

  • CFTC-authorized Designated Contract Markets (DCMs)
  • NFA-authorized Brokerages offering access to DCM-listed contracts
