Google is now emailing advertisers using the Content API for Shopping or Merchant API v1beta to confirm deprecation timelines and urge early migration.
Starting August 18, 2025, Merchant API v1 becomes the official replacement, with Content API support ending August 18, 2026. Developers on Merchant API v1beta must switch to v1 by February 28, 2026.
If no action is taken, API access to Merchant Center will be lost after the deadlines.
