Google has confirmed that v18 of the Google Ads API will sunset on August 20, 2025. After this date, all v18 API requests will fail, which could disrupt campaigns or tools that still depend on it.

If you’re still using v18, now’s the time to upgrade. Use the Google Cloud Console to check which methods your project is calling and whether any are tied to v18.

What to do:

  • Review your API usage logs
  • Upgrade to the latest API version
  • Check the release notes for changes
