Performance Max Gets Account Negatives in API v20 Update

Google has released v20 of the Google Ads API on June 4, 2025, unlocking several key updates:

  • Add campaign-level negative keywords to Performance Max
  • Granular ad network segmentation for Demand Gen (YouTube, Maps, Discover, Gmail)
  • Platform comparable conversions are now supported in Demand Gen
  • YouTube Select insights, device-level segmentation & sub-country analysis (allowlisted accounts only)
  • Reach forecasting with first-party lists for allowlisted advertisers
