Introduction of a Confirmation Step for Appeals

Screenshot of a Google Ads policy violation appeal form. An introduction at the top outlines the process, while a checkbox at the bottom is next to a confirmation message with two conditions for submission. A red arrow points to the checkbox, highlighting this crucial confirmation step.

Google Ads has added a confirmation checkbox for various appeal types, including “Destination Not Working,” “Clickbait,” and “Prohibited Content” disapprovals.

Advertisers must now confirm that they have reviewed and resolved the issue before submitting an appeal.

This update ensures advertisers address disapproval reasons, such as fixing broken URLs or adhering to content policies, before requesting a review.

To appeal, navigate to Policy Manager, select the disapproved ad, resolve the issue, and tick the checkbox to confirm compliance.

This streamlined process enhances review efficiency and ensures advertisers thoroughly review their assets before submitting an appeal.
