Google is updating its advertiser verification program by introducing an optional verification step to confirm the advertiser’s affiliation with their organization.
Upon successful organization verification, an option to verify the affiliation of the advertiser/individual with the organisation they are verifying can appear. The advertiser will need to provide and verify its organizational email to establish the affiliation with the verified organization.
This new step is not mandatory, and there will be no penalties for not completing it.
