Starting July 15, 2024, Google Ads will update its gambling and games policy to accept ads for lottery couriers in 36 states and the District of Columbia, and for Daily Fantasy Sports operators in 17 states.

Advertisers must be licensed in at least one state that requires a license if targeting states without licensing requirements. Certification applications are mandatory. The updated policies will be reflected on the gambling and games policy page when they go into effect.
