A new phishing scam is targeting advertisers with fake Google Ads email invites offering account access. These messages can appear highly convincing, sometimes even referencing legitimate companies, but the goal is to gain access to your MCC.

Common warning signs include:

  • Emails sent from Gmail addresses
  • Suspicious or mismatched access links

Do not accept account access from companies you do not know.

Staying cautious and educating your team can help prevent unauthorized access and protect client accounts.

This update was shared by Jeremy Young and further confirmed by Selina Naomi Patel, who reported receiving a similar email suggesting it may be part of a broader phishing campaign.
