Microsoft Has Revamped Conversion Tracking Setup

Microsoft Advertising introduced a fresh redesign of its conversion tracking setup. The new interface introduces a much more visual and guided experience.

The first screen when you create a new conversion goal now displays large, illustrated cards where you choose where you want to track conversions. Whether it’s a business website, app store, or offline conversions, each option is presented in a clean and visually distinct way.

And the second step follows the same style. You’re asked how you want to set up conversion tracking. You can choose either using a simplified setup or manual setup. Again, the platform uses visuals.

A website interface guides users through Microsoft conversion tracking setup, offering "Simplified setup" or "Manual setup." A field at the bottom prompts for a website URL, with "Back" and "Next" buttons below.

Here’s a screenshot of the previous interface that was text-oriented and lacked visual structure.

A revamped Microsoft Advertising webpage asks, “What kind of conversions do you want to track?”—Website, Mobile app install, or Offline. The left menu guides users through the updated conversion tracking setup steps.
