Google Reminds Advertisers Call-Only Ads Are Ending

Google is sending out email reminders about the deprecation of call-only ads, first announced in October 2024. Advertisers will soon lose the ability to create this ad format.

Key dates to note:

  • February 2026: No new call-only ads can be created
  • February 2027: Existing call-only ads will stop serving entirely
