WhatsApp Asset Rolls Out to 11 More Countries

Google has updated its help page on Message assets, also known as WhatsApp extensions, to announce that these extensions are now available in 11 additional countries. Initially launched in Brazil and India, the feature has now expanded to a wider audience.

Although still in beta, it is now available in the following countries:

  • Argentina
  • Brazil
  • Chile
  • China
  • Colombia
  • Hong Kong
  • India
  • Indonesia
  • Malaysia
  • Mexico
  • Peru
  • Singapore
  • Thailand

This extension enables advertisers to integrate WhatsApp into their campaigns, providing an additional touchpoint for potential customers to connect with the advertiser.

Just as a reminder, Message assets were first spotted in March 2024.
